Recognitions
- The Laboratory of "Chimica degli Alimenti" has been accredited as UR5 Unity of Tecnopolo "Terra&AcquaTech" (University of Ferrara), that has been recently accredited by Emilia Romagna region.
- In 2011, the Laboratory of "Chimica degli Alimenti" has been 'accredited as Laboratorio di Chimica degli Alimenti "Qualitá e Sicurezza degli alimenti funzionali" (QuaSicAli), and has been admitted to the MIUR Register of the Research Laboratories (as provided by art. 14, D.M. n. 593, 8/8/2000).
Awards
- The monograph "Anguria Reggiana: Tradizione, terre e qualità" (2012, Ed. Bookstones, Rimini, 65-80. ISBN 978-88-98275-00-7) received the second Award in the category "E10-Watermelon" within the event "Gourmand World Cookbook Awards: The Best in the World" (Beijing, China, 21 Maggio 2014). Thanks to this publication, it has been possible to start the process for requiring the IGP brand to the European Community (already approved by MIPAAF).
- The project "STUDIO e VALORIZZAZIONE di SPECIE di ORTICA TIPICHE del COMPRENSORIO EMILIANO", submitted for the Lions Award 2014 by Dr. Gianpiero Bonetti, placed first and has been awarded 6000 euro as support to graduate students under 35 years old in the development of innovative projects in agri-food and "energies for the planet" sectors. The results obtained within this this project have been the subject of an invited conference talk during the Lions International Congress (EXPO, Milan, September 2015).
