Incoming Students

Any incoming student through the Erasmus+ exchange program can attend classes from our Bachelor degree and Master’s degrees programs. Programs are delivered in Italian but some subjects are taught in English.

The Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences offers

    • First cycle degree/Bachelor - 180 ECTS (Laurea) in Chemistry
    • Second cycle degree/Two year Master - 120 ECTS (Laurea Magistrale) in Chemical Sciences
    • Single cycle degree/Combined Bachelor and Master – 300 ECTS (Laurea Magistrale a ciclo unico) in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies
  • The Bachelor in Chemistry, prepares students for careers as professional chemists and serves as a foundation for careers in other fields such as biology and medicine. The curriculum offers a thorough fundamental knowledge of the major fields of chemistry, covering the general areas of inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, plus many more specialized courses including analytical, biochemistry, food chemistry and industrial chemistry. Students gain laboratory experience in inorganic and organic synthesis, analytical methods, physical chemical measurements, spectroscopy.

  • To access to the Master in Chemical Sciences, you must have a Bachelor degree or a title obtained abroad and recognized as valid.
The two years Master in Chemical Sciences prepares students to operate in laboratories, public and private companies, and also to its management industries. Student with a master in Chemical Sciences can access to the doctoral programs in Chemistry.
The Master in Chemical Sciences offers two curricula:
Curriculum A: Chemistry - Environment and Territory
Curriculum B: Chemistry - Materials and Energy

  • The combined Bachelor and Master in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies (CTF) prepares students to work and manage all kinds of pharmaceutical issues in the pharmaceutical industry, including chemical (pharmaceutical design, production and control) and biomedical sectors. The learning outcomes of the degree program comply with the provisions of national legislation and with EC directive 85/432/EEC. The degree program focused on chemical, biochemical, pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical technology and chemical-pharmaceutical disciplines, with particular emphasis on practical laboratory activities.
